Self-employed professionals and their issues on the agenda.
At the request of VOLT Portugal, ANPL participated in a joint working meeting on June 2nd in Lisbon to analyze problems related to the exercise of self-employed professionals in Portugal. VOLT informed about the existence of a working group dedicated to this purpose within the party.
During the meeting, several cases of unequal treatment under the Constitution and applicable legislation for these professionals were listed. Representatives from ANPL participated in the meeting.
ANPL and VOLT will continue their contacts in identifying and sharing information regarding the various forms of exercising liberal professions and their impact on society.
On behalf of ANPL, Orlando Monteiro da Silva and Artur Miler participated, while representing VOLT were Pedro Malheiro, Diana Tavares, José Freitas, and Vítor Moreira.
