The Deputy and President of JSD (Youth Social Democratic) participates in the panel “A Statute for the Liberal Professional?”
The Statute of the Liberal Professional will be discussed in a panel of deputies within the scope of the 1st Liberal Professional Forum, which takes place on September 23rd at the Auditorium of Biblioteca Almeida Garrett, located in the Jardins do Palácio de Cristal, Porto.

Alexandre Poço, a native of Oeiras, is a financial consultant and is 31 years old. Currently, he is a Deputy of PSD (Social Democratic Party) in the Assembly of the Republic . He holds the position of Vice President of the Parliamentary Group and President of the Youth of the Social Democratic Party.
He is a member of the following Parliamentary Committees:

Alexandre Poço entered Higher Education in 2010, graduated in Communication from FCSH-Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2013, and obtained a Master’s degree in Management from Nova SBE-Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2015. Between 2011 and 2013, he attended the British Council until obtaining the IELTS certificate from the University of Cambridge.
In 2014, he was a finalist in the Accenture Innovation Challenge, a competition in which he developed a project to attract foreign investment to Portugal in the tourism sector. In 2014, he began working at Banco Santander Totta as a Summer intern in the Risk area.
Between September 2014 and October 2019, he worked at the consulting firm PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), where he was a Senior Consultant in the area of Strategy & Corporate Finance, developing financial and strategic consulting projects for clients in Portugal, Angola, and Cape Verde.
